The PS Store has dropped a pair of free PS5 and PS4 games, which come with easy Platinum trophies. While one of the games is only playable on the PS5, current-gen owners can play both games, thanks to backwards compatibility. A PS Plus subscription is not required, as everything is 100% free.

First, we have Chess Mate (PS5 only) by Cudit Games. It’s a very straightforward game suitable for beginners and amateurs. Even if you don’t know how to play Chess, you can quickly learn the basics and earn all trophies, including the Platinum, without any trouble.
There is no catch in this game. At least not yet. There are no add-ons or additional purchases required to unlock anything. Simply download and play.
Chess Mate already boasts a rating of 4.21/5 Stars on the PS Store.
The second free game, which is available on PS4 and playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility, is a little difficult to explain. Its title certainly doesn’t do it any favors.
Ecchi Secrets is a game that makes no secret of the fact that it’s all about sex and beautiful girls. But those who’ve played games like Cuties Hacked and Celebrities Hacked will be interested in this one, especially as it seems inspired by the classic Qix and Xonix games.
Ecchi Secrets’ Platinum trophy and 100% completion don’t require any additional purchases, even though the game has quite a few add-ons on the PS Store.
We highly recommend putting your kids to bed before starting this one, though.
