The PlayStation Store always has PS4 and PS5 demos to check out for free. Players simply require an internet connection to download them; The online gaming service, PlayStation Plus is not required to check out these vertical slices. In just the past few days, some interesting demos have hit the digital storefront, and they may be worth checking out.
What are the latest PS Store demos for PS5 and PS4?
There are three demos that have recently been released that may be promising: Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit, Creepy Shift: Roadside Diner, and Gigasword. All of them are available for PS5 and two are available for PS4 as well. From creepy work-sims to metroidvanias, there is something to check out for any gamer.

Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit (PS5, PS4)
Synopsis: “The ULTIMATE NERD RAGE is back in Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit – an all-new action platformer set in the AVGN universe! Play as The Nerd and blast your way across a host of pixel art levels crawling with zombies, mechanical skeletons, ghoulish reapers, and more!”
Creepy Shift: Roadside Diner (PS5)
Synopsis: “A young man takes a night shift at a roadside diner. Ordinary tasks — washing dishes, moving boxes, cleaning — quickly turn into a fight for survival. What was supposed to be a quiet night becomes a nightmare where a set of mysterious rules is the only hope of making it to dawn.”
Gigasword (PS5, PS4)
Synopsis: “Balance the weight of the GIGASWORD, battling between brain and brawn in this action-puzzle metroidvania where the might of the sword will determine all. As tensions rise in Thoenhart, a city plagued by famine and disease, the humans within set their hopes on a final solution: invade the ancient tower Nestrium, slay the Nocturne, and take the God Crystal, Gnosis, for themselves.
