The craze surrounding Pokémon Pokopia is clearly huge. Although no sales figures have been confirmed yet, the boxed version is reportedly out of stock almost everywhere.
Sold as a game card, this physical edition of the Switch 2 exclusive may now be difficult to find depending on the region and retailer. For example, a real shortage has been reported in the United Kingdom. According to Christopher Dring of The Game Business, the game was “seriously undersupplied” at retailers.
The situation is similar in the United States, where the game is no longer available at Walmart, GameStop, or Target. The official Nintendo store is also affected. For its part, Amazon has insidiously inflated the price of Pokémon Pokopia to $80 to capitalize on its success.
Finally, in France, several major retailers such as Carrefour, Fnac, and CDiscount still have copies available. But this may not last long.
