Pokemon LeafGreen Player Spends 2.5 Years Beating the Game Using Only Green Shinies

A Pokemon LeafGreen player has completed an unusual challenge, beating the classic game with a team of only green Shiny Pokemon. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were landmark games when they launched in 2004, marking the first remakes in the history of the franchise. The pair of Kanto remakes added plenty of new features to the games that started the Pokemon craze, including the introduction of the Sevii Islands and new battling mechanics. The games also added Shiny Pokemon to the Kanto region, which were not included in the original release of Pokemon Red and Blue.
