PlayStation State Of Play February 2026: All The Biggest Announcements And Games

PlayStation State Of Play February 2026: All The Biggest Announcements And Games

60 minutes of PlayStation!

One week after the first Nintendo Direct of 2026, PlayStation is joining the party with its first State of Play of the new year. Sony promised “60+ minutes” of news and updates on games coming to PlayStation platforms.

PlayStation’s first-party lineup for 2026 already includes Marathon, MLB: The Show 26, and Saros, among others, all of which could appear during the presentation. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, another PlayStation project, recently had its Steam page appear with many new details, which could signal a big showing as part of this State of Play.

As for third-party possibilities, Forza Horizon 6 and Halo: Combat Evolved are coming to PlayStation from Xbox Game Studios, while Capcom has four games launching in the next three months: Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3, Mega Man Star Force Collection, and Pragmata. Also, we are now less than a year away from the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, and the third and final part of the FF7 Remake trilogy–which has featured in multiple State of Play videos in the past–has yet to be formally revealed, so it’s possible that debut happens here.

(And, yes, there’s also Grand Theft Auto VI, but trailers for that highly anticipated game normally release as their own massive event, so its appearance here is less likely.)

We’ll be updating this gallery throughout the event with every announcement from the show.

Kena: Scars Of Kosmora

Ember Lab kicked off this State of Play with the debut of Kena: Scars of Kosmora, a follow-up to 2021’s Bridge of Spirits. The debut trailer included a look at raw gameplay, with combat and traversal specifically featured. Scars of Kosmora is coming to PS5 and PC in 2026.

Ghost Of Yotei Legends

The first expansion to 2025’s Ghost of Yotei came next, with a new look at its four-player co-op gameplay and demonic versions of the base game’s Yotei Six. The DLC launches on Marco 10 as a free download for owners of the game.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach

Next up was the confirmation of Death Stranding 2’s PC port, with upscaling and frame generation, DualSense support, and more. The PC version launches March 19.

4:Loop

Mike Booth from Bad Robot Games was featured next, where he introduced new gameplay for 4:Loop, a co-op action roguelite where groups of four choose missions based on a multi-branching grid called the Probability Map. A playtest was also confirmed for the near future.

Pragmata

A new story trailer for Capcom’s Pragmata came next, showing off some of the derelict city we saw way back in the game’s first trailer in 2020. Pragmata was previously confirmed to launch on April 24, but a playable demo is available now.

Resident Evil Requiem

Following Pragmata was another Capcom trailer, Resident Evil Requiem, which launches at the end of the month. A new story-focused trailer highlighted the dynamic between Leon and Grace, while showing off more of Leon’s combat prowess. We also get a tease of the Raccoon City Police Department, which Leon will apparently return to in the next game.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered

A new remaster of the final chapter in the Legacy of Kain series is coming to PS4 and PS5 on March 3. The first reveal trailer showed off some of the remastered gameplay, as well as the confirmation of levels from a cancelled sequel.

Dead Or Alive

A new update to the latest Dead Or Alive game, Dead Or Alive 6: Last Round, was revealed next. The updated version will include a photo mode, upscaled visuals, and a free-to-play version for those who wish to try it. The updated Dead Or Alive 6 launches June 25.

Afterward, a short teaser for a new Dead Or Alive project, coming in celebration of the series’s 30th anniversary, showcased Ryu Hayabusa taking on an unnamed female warrior.

Control Resonant

Remedy Entertainment took control of the State Of Play next with a new look at Control Resonant. More of the game’s melee-focused combat was shown off, as well as a look at a few interesting locales within this alternate version of New York City, and what seemed like a boss fight.

Crimson Moon

Next up was the debut of Crimson Moon from ProbablyMonsters, a third-person action game where players take on the role of a half-man/half-angel knight tasked with fighting horrific demons. Crimson Moon is set to release later in 2026.

Beast of Reincarnation

Following its appearance at the Xbox Developer Direct last month, Beast of Reincarnation–a new third-person action game from Pokemon developer Game Freak–was the next game to feature. The trailer showed off fresh gameplay and confirmed an August 4 release date.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ubisoft’s armless hero Rayman, a new edition of his original adventure launches tomorrow on PlayStation.

Mina The Hollower

Yacht Club’s next major adventure Mina The Hollower made an appearance next, as a PS5-exclusive demo was confirmed to launch tomorrow. The release window was also updated to Spring 2026.

Neva: Prologue

A new prologue chapter to Nomada Studio’s 2024 indie hit Neva was confirmed for launch on February 19. The base game will be required to play this new prologue.
