What if Sony reversed its strategy of porting its exclusive single-player games to PC? For several years now, the Japanese company has been releasing its titles on our computers. This has been the case for God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us, and Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Now, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reports that PlayStation is considering no longer porting its big titles to PC. The company may decide to only offer its GAAS on PC.
This means that titles such as Marvel’s Wolverine, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and Ghost of Yotei would remain true exclusives to the PS5. Sony could also decide to release its single-player exclusives on PC much later, making it clear to gamers that it is essential to buy a console to play.
Of course, this supposed reversal is currently only a rumor that has not been confirmed in any way. Schreier did add, however, that this is not mere speculation on his part.
