PlayStation has removed PC from the descriptions of some of its studios

Sony hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, but upcoming titles developed by its studios are expected to remain exclusive to its consoles. There will be no further PC ports of the company’s single-player games.

It is precisely on this subject that the website Game Observer has made a little discovery. Indeed, the Japanese company appears to have decided to remove any mention to PC from the descriptions of some of its PlayStation Studios titles.

As a result, Valkyrie Entertainment no longer mentions its work on PC.

“Providing top-tier co-development expertise to several of PlayStation Studios’ most iconic and award-winning franchises, including ASTRO BOT, Helldivers 2 and God of War.”

This is also the ce case of XDEV.

“Partnering with talented independent studios to publish exciting, exclusive titles for PlayStation players worldwide.”

It is important to note that Nixxes Software is still mentioned as a team of “engineering teams specialised in high-quality PC ports”. Sony appears to be gradually shifting its strategy.
