Hideo Kojima and his teams are currently working on two games. On one hand, there’s the survival horror title OD with Xbox, and on the other, Physint in collaboration with PlayStation. It’s the latter that’s back in the spotlight this week.
The next-gen spy-action game from the director of Metal Gear Solid has revealed one of its scenes through a casting call. The project, codenamed “Shimmer,” will feature a sequence aboard a hijacked bus with several passengers. Kojima Productions is looking for a mother holding her newborn baby, as well as five teenagers of different ethnic backgrounds and two other male passengers.
Additionally, an antagonist with a German accent and a calm yet “intense” demeanor, along with an “almost psychotic confidence”, is mentioned. He is described as “Mads Mikkelsen in Hannibal, but with a touch of originality”. It’s worth noting that Mikkelsen is part of the cast of Death Stranding.
Filming is set to begin in June 2026, suggesting that Physint won’t be released for several years. It will likely be a PS6 game.
