PC Users Can Claim and Download 11 Free Games, AAA Included

PC gamers are able to claim up to 11 free games this month, and that includes several AAA bangers.

There are various video game subscription services available to you if you play on PC, but one service that you may not be aware of is Amazon Prime Gaming.

If you have an active Amazon Prime subscription but aren’t aware of Prime Gaming, it’s worth checking out. Each month, several new free games are released on the service and can be added to your various PC gaming accounts.

And with it now being a fresh month, Amazon has a new selection of games it’s giving away, which can be added to your Prime Gaming account, as well as other platforms like Epic Games and GOG.

Let’s dive into all the new games that have been added to the service this month, when they’ll be available, and which platform you can play them on.

  • Sid Meier’s Civilization VI (Epic Games Store) – Available Now
  • Brigador: Up-Armored Edition (GOG) – Available Now
  • Reflections of Life: Dark Architect Collector’s Edition (Amazon Games) – Available Now
  • Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe (GOG) – Available 15 January
  • Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics (GOG) – Available 15 January
  • DeathKeep (GOG) – Available 15 January
  • Harold Halibut (GOG) – Available 22 January
  • D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator (GOG) – Available 22 January
  • Al-Qadim: The Genie’s Curse (GOG) – Available 29 January
  • Technotopia (Amazon Games) – Available 29 January
  • ELDERBORN (GOG) – Available 29 January

These games will become available throughout the month, and can be downloaded and enjoyed on your PC.

If you’re interested in playing any of them, make sure that your PC hits the minimum specified requirements, or else you may run into performance issues, crashes, and other bugs.

Meanwhile, Amazon is also adding more games via Luna, its premium streaming service. Recent additions include Alan Wake Remastered, the 2021 remaster of the 2010 original by Remedy Entertainment, and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut.

Altogether, a pretty strong start to 2026 with all these games considered. Of the new games being added to Prime Gaming, my top picks here would probably be Civilization VI, Harold Halibut and Elderborn. But there’s enough variety that there should be something for everyone.

These games will be available throughout January, and will be swapped out for new games at some point in February, where you should expect a similar level of quality when they become available.
