A new mode is coming. Check out the latest Painkiller trailer for this upcoming co-op first-person action shooter game to see what to expect with Rogue Angel, a new roguelike game mode. Separate from the main campaign, Rogue Angel takes players to a new realm of Purgatory, where you and your friends will advance through procedurally generated arenas, collect tarot cards, weapons, and items along the way, and take on epic bosses. Painkiller will be available on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 21, 2025.In Painkiller, welcome to Purgatory! You’ve been sentenced for your transgressions against Heaven, but the Voice of the Creator is giving you one chance to redeem yourself. Blast through hordes of demons in brutal, fast-paced combat with an array of infernal weapons. Battle across gruesome gothic environments to stop the fallen angel Azazel’s invasion of Earth and earn your salvation – solo or in online co-op for up to three players.
