Overwatch 2 Season 20 has arrived, marking the addition of the first melee-focused DPS hero to the roster, Vendetta. This is technically not the first time Blizzard has attempted a melee-focused DPS hero, as Doomfist was originally in that role before being reworked into a tank. Vendetta wields her massive Palatine Fang greatsword to slice through enemies.
The Season 20 battle pass has a loose winter theme. It includes skins like Yukizaru Genji, Colder: 76 Soldier: 76, Winter Guardian Illari, and Skadi Freja. All of these skins feature characters bundled up in winter clothing with blue-and-white color schemes. The battle pass also included Mythic Shards, which can be used to get the new Mythic Divine Desperado Cassidy skin or Capsule Cannon Orisa weapon skin.
The premium battle pass, which contains most of the skins in addition to other cosmetics and currencies, costs 1,000 Overwatch Coins ($10) for the base version, or 2,200 coins ($22) for a version with 20 tier skips. You can also get the Ultimate Battle Pass bundle for $40, which includes the premium battle pass, 20 tier skips, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, and two exclusive skins, Reindeer Tracer and High Society Vendetta, the only Legendary Vendetta skin available so far.
