One Piece’s Elbaf Arc Powers Up Luffy’s Forgotten Form

Monkey D. Luffy wields one of the most versatile Devil Fruits in One Piece, and it has given him many unique forms or transformations. However, with Gear 5 being introduced, it has become Luffy’s most relied-upon form. As such, the likes of Gear 4 and many others have been forgotten, but One Piece’s Elbaf arc has done wonders to fix that. This arc has not only brought back the power of Gear 4, but also upgraded it significantly in many ways to make it usable once again. Despite having Gear 5, Luffy now has new advanced forms of Gear 4 that Oda will make him use in combat more often from here onwards.
