One Piece‘s combat system has been slowly evolving and expanding over the course of hundreds of anime episodes and manga chapters, which means some fighting styles rise and fall in the ranks. For a time, One Piece made it clear that Logia-type Devil Fruits were the most powerful, to the point some Logia users seemed nearly unbeatable. By the time the manga’s Elbaph Arc launched, though, Logias were clearly on the decline.
