NVIDIA will soon announce DLSS 4.5 with improvements to Super Resolution

Just a few hours before the opening of CES 2026, NVIDIA has dropped a big announcement. On Tuesday, the American company will unveil DLSS 4.5 and all its new features.

Following DLSS 4, NVIDIA will offer an improved version with changes focused on Super Resolution, which will opt for a “second-generation transformer” model. The goal is to improve various aspects such as temporal stability, but also to reduce ghosting effects and apply even sharper anti-aliasing.

In addition, dynamic multi-frame generation will allow gamers to get three to six times more frames per second. This will provide a smoother gaming experience, specially designed for high refresh rate displays (especially those at 240Hz).

It is important to note that dynamic x6 image generation will only be available from spring 2026 exclusively on RTX 50 GPUs. Meanwhile, DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution will be available on RTX 20, 30, 40, and 50 series GPUs.
