This is more bad news that could soon hit PC gamers. NVIDIA is reportedly considering significantly reducing its graphics card production starting next year.
Early rumors suggest a drop in production of between 30 and 40% starting in the first quarter of 2026. The American company could initially decide to target production of the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti. NVIDIA would like to focus primarily on more profitable models.
Of course, this strategy is motivated by memory shortages. The brand no longer seems to be able to obtain sufficient supplies of GDDR7, and as a result, graphics cards with large amounts of VRAM could become scarce in the near future.

It’s always tough to hear about potential production cuts, especially for something as essential as GPUs for gaming. It’s interesting to see how the market is shifting, and I hope things stabilize soon for gamers and the industry alike.
