Nintendo Switch Friends Lists Just Got Much Better With The New Update

The latest system software update for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 included more than stability, adding a feature that should be standard on all gaming platforms. Users can now add notes about their friends on their ever-growing friends list across both platforms.

As Nintendo’s patch notes for Version 22.0.0 read, the Switch firmware update added “the ability to save notes about friends on your Friend List.” Friends won’t see the notes you write about them, and you can even see and edit your friends’ notes on the Nintendo Switch smartphone app. With notes, users can write a reminder of who a friend is, what their name is, or how they met them.

Still, it’s an opportunity to clean your list, label the people you know, and make sense of it all.
