New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a remaster of the old Wii U title from 2012. It offers updated graphics, the New Super Luigi U expansion, new items, and other quality-of-life upgrades. You’ll get to explore over 160 levels through nine unique worlds, each with its own enemies, aesthetics, and power-ups. Part of what makes the game so fun is its cooperative play, which allows up to four players to tackle its 2D levels together. For players new to platformers, they can play as Nabbit (who is practically invincible and makes it easy for newcomers to learn the ropes).
As a bonus, you’ll find three additional game modes–Boost Rush, Challenges, and Coin Battle–offering plenty of replay value once you’ve made it through the core content. The game is always an easy recommendation for Mario fans, but at this new price, it’s the ideal time to cross it off your wishlist. New Super Mario Bros.
