Steam users have another bundle of freebies to claim for free now, featuring one of the strangest games we’ve ever come across…
Valve’s Steam store boasts one of the largest collections of digital games you’ll ever come across and while the AAA releases are what keep it going, the indies really are the heart and soul of the storefront.
Below you’ll find four of these indies which can be downloaded and kept for free.
Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online
This is the purr-fect game to start with it as it’s completely bonkers. A couple of double-takes are in order when you first read the title.
In its own words, “Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online is a clicker game where progression is replaced with gambling,” but the fictional kind that doesn’t involve your real-life earnings of course.
The ultimate goal is to collect the silliest variants of Linguine you can, which are categorised by rarity.
Bizarre premise aside the game is actually highly-recommended by Steam users, as it’s currently sitting at a respectable 413 reviews, 97% of which are Positive.

We’re not saying Silly Linguine Cat Simulator Deluxe Online is a Game of the Year contender but stranger things have happened.
Duality Shift
This is one for the parkour fans out there so if you’re into games like Mirror’s Edge or Dying Light, for example, Duality Shift is worth a look.
Combining smoothing freerunning with mind-bending techno visuals Duality Shift sees players alter the very space around them as they run.
There are plenty of perils between you and the finish line so it might take a few practice runs to get your route down but you’ll have a lot of fun on the way.
8 Ball Pro Online
Definitely the weakest game on this list but for fans of pool, you can’t really go wrong with this one.
It features all the usual tricks and mechanics you’d expect from a 3D pool game giving you absolute control over your cue ball, and it even features alternative game modes for when you’re getting bored of the standard game.
8 Ball Pro Online can be played solo with AI opponents, locally on the same PC or via online multiplayer.
Al’ulA
Last but certainly not least we have Al’ulA which looks like the most impressive game in this latest free bundle.

It’s a first-person “non-euclidean puzzle game” where players can twist and rotate entire rooms to make it through to the next area.
Al’ulA takes a lot of its inspiration from medieval Morocco but puts a sci-fi spin on things, and it’s worth a go if you’re looking for a solid puzzle game.
All of the above games are free-to-play on Steam right now so don’t sleep on them. Even if you don’t play them right away they’re good to have in your library even if just for a rainy day.
