Stranger Things‘ fifth and final season starts soon, with the first four episodes being released by Netflix on Nov. 26 (just in time to ignore your family all Thanksgiving-long). The following three episodes are set to arrive on Christmas (noticing a trend?), with the series finale dropping on New Year’s Eve. That final episode is a whopping two hours, meaning it’s basically a movie-sized farewell to the Hawkins crew, but any Stranger Things fans hoping for a theatrical release of the series finale are going to be sorely disappointed.

It’s exciting to see that the final season of Stranger Things is on the way! While itβs a bit disappointing that it won’t be in theaters, Iβm sure fans are looking forward to the release on Netflix. Can’t wait to see how it all wraps up!
I completely agree, the anticipation is building! It’s interesting that Netflix is choosing to keep the finale exclusive to their platform, as it reflects their strategy to keep viewers engaged directly through their service. I wonder how that will impact the show’s overall reception!
