The crazy trend of adaptations continues, and Netflix has decided to take on the Overcooked IP. The chaotic coop cooking game will be adapted into a rather unexpected format.
Overcooked will be adapted into a reality TV show in the form of a cooking competition. The production company A24 (which is also producing the Death Stranding movie) has secured the rights to the franchise. The show will be inspired by what has already been done on Floor is Lava and Nailed It!.
A24 and Netflix have declined to comment on this information from Deadline.
