MLB The Show 26 Announced, Now and Later Packs Go Live on November 21st

MLB The Show 26 has been announced by Sony and San Diego Studio without any platforms. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox releases are pretty much a given, but the real question is: What does next year’s title have to offer longtime fans?

Road to the Show is getting new high school and college journeys, while Diamond Dynasty’s Weekend Classic and Diamond Quest will also receive new content. There are also Now and Later Packs, live from November 21st, which allow redeeming The Show Packs from MLB The Show 25 in the sequel. If you subscribe to The Scouting Report by November 14th, you’ll receive five Now and Later Packs early.

Cross-game pack redemption, after all these years? Pinch me, I must be dreaming.

Other notable new features include a more immersive and challenging Franchise Mode, The Negro Leagues Season 4 with even more storylines centered around African-American legends, and more.

MLB The Show 26 will receive more details in 2026. Could it finally mark the franchise’s debut on PC, at least going by a job listing from last month? Stay tuned to find out.
