Build A Rocket Boy has had a difficult 2025, to say the least. Despite the bitter failure of MindsEye at its launch last June, the studio has yet to give up, with several updates rolled out in recent weeks.
This work seems to be paying off, if we are to believe the recent reviews on Steam, which are “mostly positive”. Today, patch 6.1 is finally available on consoles and PC, bringing new improvements to the AI and animations. Other optimizations and fixes are also included.
Build a Rocket Boy has already promised further updates for MindsEye in 2026. The game should then keep its positive momentum.
