After years of waiting and weeks of rumors, Insomniac Games finally debuted a new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. It features the iconic anti-hero (played by Liam McIntyre) discussing his nature and how he isn’t a violent person, but can’t really help when push comes to shove. Check it out below.
Alongside showcasing Logan’s utter brutality in dismantling foes, with dismemberment, we also see familiar threats like Sentinels. Mystique and Omega Red also play a role, though the latter is more antagonistic than the former. Staying true to the Wolverine experience is important, with Insomniac implementing an extensive amount of detail, including realistic blood and gore.
Players will traverse several locations worldwide, including Japan, Madripoor, and the Canadian wilderness. Combat is fast-paced, and yes, Logan dons his signature yellow outfit. Overall, it’s a much darker endeavor than the Marvel’s Spider-Man series.
