We learned today on X that Marathon, the extraction shooter from Bungie and PlayStation, finally has a price and a release window.
After an initial delay earlier this year, Marathon will finally be available in March 2026, priced at $39.99.
According to Bungie, the game will not feature any pay-to-win mechanics, and players will have access to all gameplay updates with an additional rewards pass that won’t expire.
Community manager Andy Salisbury said he was grateful to the game’s incredible community, thanks to which they were able to test and gather valuable feedback to ensure that Marathon was developed with its players in mind. Improvements include proximity chat, a new solo experience, and even a new queue.
