While Sony has not yet officially announced sales figures for Marathon, Alinea Analytics has provided the first unofficial sales figures for Bungie’s PvP FPS.
According to this data, Marathon has sold 1.2 million units across all platforms. The PC version alone accounts for 800,000 copies (about 70%), compared to 217,000 copies on PS5 (19%) and 133,000 on Xbox Series X|S (11%). Although developed by a PlayStation-owned studio, the game was primarily popular on PC rather than on PS5.
Gross revenue therefore amounts to approximately $55 million. During the weekend of March 21–22, 2026, 380,000 daily active players were recorded across all platforms.
