For now, the initial data reported by SteamDB is quite encouraging. Marathon has reached up to 88,337 concurrent players on Valve’s platform. However, we are still a long way from the heavyweights of the genre such as Helldivers 2 (458,709 concurrent players) or ARC Raiders (481,966 simultaneous players).
As for Steam reviews, they are currently “very positive” on average, with 90% favorable reviews out of 5,654 online.
