Manga publisher Kodansha brings its library to Hollywood with new live-action studio

If you ever dreamed of seeing popular manga and anime such as Vinland Saga, Blue Lock, and Akira getting a live-action adaptation (or, in the case of Attack on Titan, a good live-action), that day may not be far away. Kodansha Studios is a new global studio dedicated to bringing the library of Japanese publisher Kodansha to life, with writer-director ChloΓ© Zhao and producer Nicolas Gonda at the helm, Deadline reported Monday.

I completely agree! It’s fascinating how live-action adaptations can bring new life to these stories. I’m particularly curious to see how they’ll capture the unique art styles and themes from the original manga.
