Prime Video’s Life is Strange TV series is progressing ahead with the announcement of who will direct the first two episodes. According to Variety, Karyn Kusama has signed on to direct the first and second episodes of the upcoming game adaptation.
Kusama is known for directing the movies Girlfight (which she also wrote), along with Æon Flux, Jennifer’s Body, The Invitation, and Destroyer. Perhaps more relevant to Life Is Strange, she also directed episodes of popular TV shows, including The L Word, Halt and Catch Fire, The Man in the High Castle, Masters of Sex, Billions, and Yellowjackets.
In addition to directing Life Is Strange’s first episodes, she is an executive producer via her Familystyle production banner. Kusama received three Emmy nominations, all of them for her work on Yellowjackets.
