Lego Transformers Optimus Prime And Soundwave Models Get Nice Discounts

Transformers fans can get a solid discount on the awesome Optimus Prime Lego set at Amazon ahead of the retailer’s Prime Big Deal Days sale. Normally $180, the 1,508-piece model of the Autobot leader is on sale for $156.39. If Amazon sells out, Target has the set for $158. The 2-in-1 Optimus Prime figure converts from robot to truck, which is a really cool feature that makes the Lego Icons Transformers series unique additions to your Lego collection.

Optimus Prime hasn’t been easy to find in stock in recent months, largely because of the release of Lego’s Soundwave Transformers set. Launched in August as a Lego Store exclusive, the 1,505-piece Soundwave build is now available at major retailers as of October 1. Amazon has the 2-in-1 Decepticon display model–which converts from robot to cassette player–in stock, but you’ll want to check out Walmart’s offer while you can. Walmart is selling the new Soundwave Lego set for $180, which is 10 bucks below its $190 MSRP.
