LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight gets an earlier release date

Warner Bros. Games has announced that it is bringing the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight forward, so players can explore Gotham City sooner rather than later. The original release date was May 29th, 2026 but the new release date is May 22nd 2026. A brief new trailer has been released to confirm the earlier release date for LEGO: Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available to pre-order with both a standard edition and deluxe edition on offer. The standard edition is the base game, with those who pre-order getting The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit. The deluxe edition will include the base game, the Legacy Collection containing the Arkham Trilogy pack, the Batman Beyond pack, and the Party Music pack. It also gives players access to the Mayhem Collection DLC which will launch in September. This collection lets you play as Joker and Harley Quinn in a new story mission, a Mayhem mode, and the Sinister pack. Those who pre-order will also get the Dark Knight Returns Batsuit and three days early access.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will explore most eras of Batman from the very beginning to more recent takes on the character. . Train with the League of Shadows, fight crime in Gotham, face off against the Joker, Penguin, Bane, and plenty more, referencing TV, comics, movies and games. Gotham City will be completely open world so you can explore it in your own way as Batman. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS on May 22nd, with a Switch 2 release coming later.
