Jeff Kaplan, best known for his work on World of Warcraft and Overwatch during hist time at Blizzard, has announced his new game this week. Here is The Legend of California, which will be released on PC at a date yet to be announced.
The Legend of California is an open-world action survival FPS set on the mythical island of California during the Gold Rush. Players will be able to explore this vast playground alone or with friends in PvE games for up to four players. Optional PvP sessions in which players must defend their camp are also on the agenda.
In addition to combat and numerous activities such as hunting and gathering, the game will allow you to build and expand your own ranch. You can add a mine, stables, and crafting workshops.
The Legend of California will be available to try out as part of a playtest. You can request access to it via the Steam page.
