It’s Time to Admit Dragon Ball Super is Worse Than Dragon Ball GT

Dragon Ball GT has a lot of problems, but honestly, so does Dragon Ball Super. Both series suffer from a lack of narrative direction, poor animation more often than not, and an overreliance on their two main characters (Goku and Pan in the case of Dragon Ball GT, and Goku and Vegeta for Dragon Ball Super). That said, where Dragon Ball Super falls back on the safety of fan service of hype moments designed to resonate with DBZ fans as much as possible, Dragon Ball GT actually makes some bold decisions with its storytelling.
