The fighting genre is composed of dozens of unique IP, although the average person probably only knows a handful of franchises, such as Tekken, Street Fighter, or Mortal Kombat. But then you have other series that are just beyond the mainstream, like Guilty Gear or Fatal Fury, which are well worth a look, even if they aren’t as high-production as the aforementioned genre leaders.
