In the ranking of the biggest failures of 2025, MindsEye is undoubtedly on top. The game had too many issues at launch and its content was generally disappointing.
This week, the website Insider Gaming reported that developer Build A Rocket Boy had decided to end its publishing partnership with IO Interactive. This decision was reportedly motivated by a desire to publish MindsEye directly in-house in order to simplify communication and gain greater control over the overall gaming experience.
In addition, this choice will result in the cancellation of the planned crossover between MindsEye and Hitman. This strategic reversal is entirely the responsibility of Build A Rocket Boy, which will now focus on fixing remaining bugs and adding content to deepen the game.
