PS Store has dropped another batch of free demos for recently released PS5 games, two of which are worth checking out. The demos in question are for action game Somber Echoes and adventure game Sedap.
No PS Plus required to access free demos for these PS5 games
Both Somber Echoes and Sedap: A Culinary Adventure feature offline play, so PS Plus is not required to check out the demos. However, Premium members can stream them on their consoles rather than download.
Somber Echoes is an action metroidvania that received decent reviews upon release. The game also earned positive user ratings on the PS Store.
“Master acrobatic combat and uncover ancient secrets in a myth-inspired Metroidvania set aboard a forsaken space vessel,” reads an official overview. “Armed with god-given abilities, the fallen tribune Adrestia is revived and given a second chance to stop her maniacal twin sister from unraveling the universe.”
Sedap: A Culinary Adventure is a lighthearted co-op cooking-combat game that received somewhat mixed reviews. The demo might help inform your decision to purchase.
“Embark on an exciting culinary journey, whip up delectable delicacies, and serve your way through a fantastical reimagination of Southeast Asia,” a description reads.
