If you’re looking for something different to play this weekend, then the PS Store has a pair of free PS5 and PS4 games that you should check out. And no, they aren’t shovelware. Both Cup Heroes and Lokko are available to all players and don’t require PS Plus to play.
Free PS5, PS4 games Cup Heroes and Lokko get positive ratings from early players
Cup Heroes appears to be a port of a popular mobile game of the same name. Frankly, I had no idea this was coming to PS4 (playable on PS5), but it appeared on the PS Store this morning. Players are having a blast with it, it seems, as it’s already garnering positive ratings.
“Step into the whimsical world of Cup Heroes, where everyday cups turn into mighty heroes on an epic quest to save their beloved Queen!” reads an overview. The game comes with trophies, including the coveted Platinum.
Lokko, on the other hand, is currently in beta, so it doesn’t have trophies just yet. The game reminds me of PS3-era PSN games that I quite enjoyed.
“Lokko is a unique 3D platformer where fun meets creativity,” a description reads. “Help Lokko and his brother overcome the evil Goobol Corporation and deliver piping hot Pizzas worldwide!”
