Intel is reportedly working on 12 Panther Lake processors

According to recent leaks, Intel has no fewer than 12 variants of its future Panther Lake processors planned, ranging from 6 to 12 CPU cores and 4 to 12 Xe3 GPU cores.

These will succeed Lunar Lake and are expected to be officially detailed on October 9 when the Tech Tour 2025 embargo is lifted, but their performance will not be confirmed until CES 2025.

The range will include several series:

  • Core Ultra X models for high-end laptops, equipped with up to 12 Xe3 cores
  • H versions, designed for gaming, offering more PCIe 5.0 lanes but only 4 GPU cores
  • And low-power U-Series, with between 6 and 8 CPU cores for a TDP of 15 W

In total, the Panther Lake range is expected to include 12 distinct models, marking a finer segmentation between productivity, gaming, and mobility.
