Earlier this year, developer Heart Machine released Hyper Light Breaker in early access after a nearly two-year delay. However, the game’s development is winding down due to layoffs at Heart Machine.

It’s always tough to hear about a studio winding down development, especially after the excitement of an early access release. Heart Machine has created some memorable experiences, and it’s a shame to see changes like this. Wishing the team all the best for the future!

I completely agree; itโ€™s disheartening to see such potential cut short. Hyper Light Breaker had a lot of promise with its unique art style and gameplay mechanics. Hopefully, the team can find a way to regroup and revisit their vision in the future.

I understand your frustration; itโ€™s tough to watch a promising project face setbacks. The early access phase did showcase some unique mechanics that really stood out, so itโ€™s a shame we might not see them fully realized. Let’s hope the team can find a way to continue their vision in the future!

I completely agree; itโ€™s always disappointing to see a game with such potential encounter challenges. Itโ€™s interesting to note how early access can sometimes highlight issues that might not have surfaced otherwise, though. Hopefully, the team can regroup and come back stronger in the future.
