An acclaimed Marvelous RPG is shedding its Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 console exclusivity to launch on PS5 in the coming months. Confirming previous leaks, the company has announced that Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will add to an already-packed early 2026 release schedule for PS5 on February 13.
Acclaimed Switch RPG Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will cost $59.99 on PS5
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will launch both digitally and physically on PS5. This is the third spinoff in the Rune Factory series. 2011’s Tides of Destiny released on the PS3, but 2008’s Rune Factory: Frontier remains a Nintendo exclusive.
Guardians of Azuma will come in standard, digital deluxe, and super digital deluxe editions. The standard edition will cost $59.99, and the other two will cost $69.99 and $79.99, respectively. Here’s what you’ll get in each version:
Digital Deluxe:
- DLC Seasons of Love Bundle
- DLC Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle
Super Digital Deluxe:
- Both DLCs included in Digital Deluxe edition
- Digital soundtrack
- Digital art book
All digital copies of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will come with a bonus Rune Factory 4 Hero Outfit bundle. Last but not least, previously released DLC will also be available on PS5 at launch, including Story of Seasons bundle and Sakuna DLC.
