Here it is! The news have finally been confirmed after several weeks of speculation. Wildlight Entertainment has just announced that it will be shutting down the Highguard servers.
The free-to-play shooter will disappear on March 12, 2026. Despite having more than 2 million players since its release in January, Highguard has failed to maintain the engagement of its community, which has rapidly dwindled.
A final update will be rolled out in the coming hours to provide access to an additional weapon, a skill tree, and a few other new features.
