Sadly, Digital Extremes didn’t get the Switch 2 dev kits in time to release an enhanced version of Warframe for the console’s launch. In any case, the Canadian studio finally has got said kits and is finally working on it.
The developers shared a very short gameplay clip for Warframe for Switch 2 on YouTube. You can check out the clip in higher quality on Twitch. On Nintendo’s latest console, the game will feature shorter loading times and an increased frame rate of up to 60 FPS in TV mode. The graphics will also be improved.
It’s always interesting to see how games adapt to new platforms. Hopefully, Digital Extremes will have the chance to fully explore the capabilities of Switch 2 in the future. Looking forward to what they might bring!
