Henry Cavill Modded into The Witcher 3, We Get Someone Else Instead

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt player installs a Henry Cavill mod, but instead, he got a cheap imposter. Like, who the heck is this guy?

Henry Cavill is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood, with fans across the world falling for his geeky yet masculine charm. He also just so happens to be a really good actor to boot, landing roles in Man of Steel, Mission: Impossible Fallout and Netflix’s The Witcher, to name a few.

It has not always been sunshine and roses for our Henry in recent years. Despite having an awesome cameo in 2022’s Black Adam, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, which was supposed to signal his return as Superman. However, the Black Adam movie was trash, and that iteration of the DC Extended Universe was dead and buried soon after.

Then we have Netflix’s The Witcher. It all started brilliantly for Henry as Geralt of Rivia, which was also a dream role for the actor, being a huge fan of the franchise. Yet, the quality of writing deteriorated with each season.

Now, Henry doesn’t play Geralt in the least season; that role now belongs to Liam Hemsworth. If it wasn’t strange enough seeing another actor play the role, there was no story explanation as to why Geralt was a totally different person. Surely, someone could have written multiverse shenanigans or something?

So, weirdness of the Netflix series aside, at least we have The Witcher video games that will never let us down, right? Well, community mods might have something to say about that.

Who the Heck Are You?

“So, I tried installing Henry Cavill’s face mod, and I think I have some mod conflicts coz…who the heck is this guy?” asked Redditor thyshadows.

I have no idea who the person in that screenshot is, but what I do know is that he doesn’t belong here.

Where’s a priest to perform an exorcism when you need them?

“Geraldinho?” suggested thyshadows, in response with naturallybi, adding “Gar of Neanderthalia.”

“He kinda looks like Matt Bomer here,” suggested TheJavierEscuella.

“John Witcheroo,” said Wrong-Life-Choices99.

In an unexpected turn of events, Temu Cavill has grown on me by the time I’ve gotten to the end of this article, and if this guy appeared in my mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, I might just keep him for the journey.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Season four of the Netflix series is available right now, if you can stomach it.
