Ideas are bulletproof, and apparently, so is a good piece of IP. Variety reported this week that V for Vendetta, the comic series created in 1982 by writer Alan Moore and illustrator David Lloyd (and reimagined as a 2005 movie by the Wachowskis and director James McTeigue) is being adapted into a new HBO show. DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran will executive produce, while Pete Jackson (not the Lord of the Rings director; that’s Peter Jackson) is writing the script.
