Half-Life 3 is expected to come out with the Steam Machine in spring 2026

In recent weeks, Valve has been in the spotlight with its hardware announcements. Unfortunately, despite numerous rumors, Half-Life 3 is nowhere to be seen. However, it shouldn’t be long now…

In the Insider Gaming podcast, insider Mike Straw mentions that the game will be released alongside the launch of the future Steam Machine in spring 2026. He points out that Valve has not yet confirmed anything due to uncertainty surrounding the price of its console. Indeed, the explosion in RAM prices could lead the American firm to revise its prices upwards.

The situation is unlikely to improve in this regard… Straw adds that it is now possible to spend more on RAM than on a graphics card. Valve is therefore facing a pricing issue and does not wish to comment on Half-Life 3 until it has made a decision.
