Gunzilla Games is a studio founded back in 2020 that took the risky gamble of focusing its strategy on blockchain technology. To that end, the German company created its own platform called GunZ. Unfortunately, it seems things are going extremely badly.
Known for its battle royale game Off The Grid, Gunzilla Games has apparently not paid its employees for several months. Paul Creamer, a former VFX animator who has since left the company, confirmed this information on LinkedIn.
“Gunzilla Games has not paid its employees for many months but still expects them to work. I have personally not been paid since October 2025. Some have had their pay delayed even longer.
I foolishly worked for 3 extra months (October, November and December) with assurances that delays in payment would be resolved. Upper management promised that these delays were temporary and growing pains tied to being a new company with a new game.
In December, the CEO himself (Vlad Korolev) had a call with my department where he promised us that invoices would be paid as soon as possible, that the company was profitable, and that we were all doing the right thing by keeping quiet and continuing to work.
He was not being truthful and now the company ignores our questions and removes our posts about what’s going on trying to silence us. Silence is what they’re hoping for, wishing that we’ll just quietly go away.”
Rayan Tiraghan, who was a gameplay animator at Gunzilla between July 2024 and February 2026, responded to the post by adding that the company also owes him money. Riccardo Galdieri, a former UI programmer for the studio, noted that “dozens of people are waiting for their paychecks”. Finally, Sergei Kochurkin, who served as a designer and illustrator, admitted that he hasn’t been paid since August–September 2025.
What’s more, Paul Creamer has had his post deleted by LinkedIn for supposedly violating the rules of the platform.

It’s unfortunate to hear about the situation at Gunzilla Games. It’s always tough when companies face challenges that impact their employees. Hopefully, there will be a resolution soon for everyone involved.
