Players worried that GTA Online will be phased out once the sixth installment is released can rest easy. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have no intention of abandoning their cash cow.
During his meeting with investors, Strauss Zelnick confirmed that GTA Online will receive new content once GTA VI is available. Support for the title will continue as long as users populate the servers.
This is a rather logical strategic choice, since PS4, Xbox One, and PC players will be deprived of Grand Theft Auto VI, which will be released on November 19, 2026, exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
