Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release this November, and Rockstar’s marketing efforts for the game will begin in earnest this summer. Now, the boss of Rockstar’s owner has commented on what to expect from the marketing for GTA 6, and he said it’s going to be a “challenge.”
Speaking to CNBC, Strauss Zelnick of Take-Two said marketing a game like GTA 6–which already has enormous hype behind it–is a “challenge” because Rockstar and Take-Two want to be “delicate” with how they push the game.
“It has to feel like, you know, this is real. We’re not selling hamburgers. We’re selling this unique art form,” he said, as reported by IGN.
