A free update for Gran Turismo 7 is out right now, and it brings four new events to World Circuit and three new cars. Check out the trailer, preferably with the sound muted so you donât have to listen to the ear-bleeding dubstep that went out of fashion in 2011.
The new vehicles are:
â69 Chevrolet Camaro Race-Mod
*Can be purchased from Brand Central
A restomod of the classic Trans-Am hero Camaro Z28.
Introduced in 1966, the Camaro was Chevroletâs answer to Fordâs Mustang. The highâperformance Z28 was developed to homologate the car for the SCCA TransâAm Series and debuted as a focused motorsports model. Power came from a highârevving 302 cu in (4.9âlitre) V8, with no automatic transmission or air conditioning offered. Campaigned by teams such as Penske Racing, the Z28 went on to claim championship success in TransâAm, helping spark a new era of smallâdisplacement, highârevving American V8s.
91 Mazda ÉÌfini RX-7 Type R (FD)Â
*Can be purchased from Used Cars
The debut model of the thirdâgeneration RXâ7, a car engineered to be the ultimate sports car.
The FD3S RXâ7 debuted in December 1991, marking a major evolution for Mazdaâs rotary sports car. The âSavannaâ name used by previous generations was dropped, and the model was rebadged as the ÉÌfini RXâ7. Its design focused on lightweight construction, balance, and outright performance.
â21 Renault Captur S Edition TCe 140Â
*Can be purchased from Brand Central
An allârounder that blurs the boundaries of the compact SUV class.
The Renault Captur is a compact crossover SUV first introduced in 2013, quickly gaining popularity for its urbanâfriendly design and impressive versatility. The secondâgeneration model arrived in 2019, built on an updated platform that delivered improved driving dynamics, ride comfort, and overall refinement. From this generation onward, Renaultâs distinctive Câshaped lighting signature became a defining visual feature.
