After just one week at the top, EA Sports FC 26 has lost its number one spot in the UK physical charts to Ghost of Yotei, the new PS5 exclusive from Sucker Punch.
However, physical sales remain around 40% lower than those of Ghost of Tsushima in 2020. This difference can be explained by the growing dominance of digital sales and the height of the COVID-19 pandemic at the time, which boosted sales.
Despite this, Ghost of Yotei has made a strong start for Sony, confirming gamers’ interest in the company’s narrative productions.
