Players have been surprised with a free PS5 upgrade for a gorgeous 2019 PS4 sandbox adventure game, and itâs out soon. System Era Softworksâ award-winning Astroneer will receive a native PS5 port on November 20, and itâll be free for all existing owners.
Astroneer free PS5 upgrade supports native 4K resolution
Astroneerâs PS5 version will support DualSense controller features, and native 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second, among other bells and whistles. Check out a trailer below:
Astroneerâs PS4 version released in 2019 to positive reviews, and went on to win a number of awards. A two-hour free trial for the game is currently available to PS Plus Premium members, progress from which carries over to the full game (including trophies).
Astroneer can be played solo, or with up to four friends in co-op multiplayer mode. Players are tasked with colonizing planets while exploring them and learning how to survive.
